A good book for JAVA

Java in a nutshell

This is a good book for Java. When I am doing my assignment, I used it many times.

At the beginning, when I borrrowed the book from the library, I think it is not a good book for the reason I cannot start to learn something from it. However, when I learned something in JAVA, and when I want to use JAVA to program, I found the book is very useful. I can find the syntax or a usage of some methods in the book easily and fleetly.

The drawback of the book is that it does not refer to the GUI. However, I think it is still a good book for JAVA programmer but not for the beginner of learnning JAVA.
